EPISODE 144 "THE FAN"

Everybody loves something so much that they are a FAN of it. The word FAN is short for FANATICAL meaning excessive enthusiasm for and intense devotion to a cause or idea. So when you say that you are a FAN of something, well basically you kinda might be overdoing it a bit. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with being a FAN of a sports team, or a musician (Especially a Fan OF BLIZM!) or even a product like a certain brand like being a FAN of APPLE products. But this is one of those time where I break down what we SAY is not what we MEAN. Because in the definition of the word, I'm not a FAN of ANYTHING. In fact, most people really just LIKE things that they think they are a FAN of. Of course, we have some people who are straight up LUNATICS and they are in fact "excessively enthusiastic" about a person or a thing. And these people make me sick. There is nothing worse than someone not knowing when liking something doesn't mean you have to be an all out FAN. Just like the movie with Wesley Snipes and Robert Dinero, a TRUE FAN of someone or something can sometimes be DANGEROUS. The only thing I hate more is a "fair weather FAN" which is a person that is a FAN of someone or thing ONLY when it is doing GOOD or on the up, but not when its doing bad (which are most ATLANTA FANS!) So here goes: Are you a FAN of someone or something and if so what TEAM, ARTIST, SHOW, or whatever are you a fan of? Do you think people who are fanatical about something have some issues? What was the number one thing you were a fan of GROWING UP? Has anyone ever told you that you were OVERLY OBSESSED with whatever you are a fan of? Have you ever got into an altercation with a person because they said something negative about something you are a FAN of? Have you ever been a FAN of someone or something and they let you down or did something so bad you STOPPED being a FAN? Call in
