A Date with God

God is Love and he wants us to trust him and come to know him but sometimes we are dating fear, doubt and unbelief, due to our past experience, no frame of reference, abuse, or no models. God created man in his image and likeness- (one of the definitions for the word image is character) God wants us to have his character or love, peace, care and trust but if we have been dating insecurity, doubt and fear(condemnation-then that it what we will experience. God has called us to walk by faith(and that is he wants us to believe him-believe his word and what he says...today we are going to talk about going on a date with God. In who are you dating. WIthout a vision the people perish...

Fatherless daughters have fear-doubt because they may lack the Christian(healthy) role-model or they may doubt his care but GOd wants us to believe him and spend time in his word.

God doen't want us to be afraid of him, perhaps we need to change partners and start believing God.
