Breaking the Silence Part 2 of Spiritual abuse ~Pulpit Thugs

Last week we began a discussion with Pastor Olivia DeLoach about spiritual abuse in the church.  We discussed the simularities between domesic abuse and spiritual abuse.  That being, power and control.  Tonight let's examine in more detail how to identify an abusive pastor.  We will look at the scripture in 1 Chron 16:22, "touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm",  and how it is often used to condone misconduct in the pulpit.  Lastly we will discuss who should hold the Pastor and leaders accountable.  Are you covering for an abusive Pastor?  Tune in tonight for Breaking the Silence with Pastor Katie Pierce and H.O.P.E.
