Last July, the Delaware General Assembly established the Unclaimed Property Task Force (the “Task Force”) to inquire into, examine, study, and make findings and recommendations related to improving fairness and compliance in Delaware’s unclaimed property program.
They have now enacted the first part of the unclaimed property reform legislation.
