My multiple award winning and esteemed guest this evening is writer, poet and teacher, Carla Panciera. We will have a lively discussion on the craft of prose and poetry writing. Carla will also read some of her excellent poetry during the interview.
Carla Panciera has published fiction, poetry and memoir in several journals including The Chattahoochee Review, The New England Review, Painted Bride and Nimrod. She has published two collections of poetry: One of the Cimalores (Cider Press) and No Day, No Dusk, No Love (Bordighera). Her first collection of short stories, Bewildered, received the 2013 Grace Paley Short Fiction Award from the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (Pam Houston, judge) and will be published by the University of Massachusetts Press in the fall of 2014.
The Huffington Post recently published her short story, It Can’t Be This Way Everywhere, a poignant story about a family dealing with a young father diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
