 Downton Abbey is a British historical drama television series set in the early 20th century, created and co-written by Julian Fellowes. 

In United States history, the Gilded Age was an era extending roughly from 1870 to 1900. It was a time of rapid economic growth, especially in the Northern and Western United States immigrants.
