Join us as our sisters and brothers in SEIU / One Miami - present their Tallahassee Report. The we'll be meeting these guests.
First will meet with Terri Wonder Manatee County at large Commissioner Candidate. Terri has said - "The argument that voters must choose between the economy and the environment is a false choice. In reality, our environment and economy are both important and interdependent. Imagine the negative impact on our economy if our natural resources are diminished by short-sighted decisions focused on the profit for a few over the public safety interests of everyone else. The economic impact of our environment includes tourism, fishing, boating, real estate values, and public health. The mindset that the legacies of a few developers are more important than everyone else is out of balance and wrong-headed."
Gwen Holden Barry Progressive Journalist with 20+ years of experience brings her depth and Cultural Sophistication to discuss this weeks issues.
Anna Eskamani - Leader of College Democrats and Planned Parenthood Advocate - An Iranian-American and Florida native, Anna graduated from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in the spring of 2012 with dual degrees in Political Science and Women’s Studies.
