The Florida Democratic Chair is the state equivalent to the national DNC position that was held by Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and now is up for grabs with progressive Keith Ellison seemingly the front-runner in the bid to take control. In Florida the race is dominated by progressive Dwight Bullard and Steve Bittel, both from the Miami-Dade DEC.

Tonight we'll talk about what's at stake, who the players are, and what progressives can expect going forward should either candidate emerge the winner.
