Tune in tonight as we speak with Jan Selman of Selman and Associates a Marketing Communications Firm in Decatur Georgia.  Jan has more than 25 years of practical political experience, and has held appointed positions under two governors and served as the Legislative VP for Georgia Citizens for the Arts. She was a co-founder of ALL-GA, a statewide advocacy organization. She's worked on numerous political campaigns at all levels. As a registered lobbyist, she has  helped shape public policy on the local, state and national level, including serving on President Obama’s National Arts Policy Committee. She has been in all of Georgia’s 159 counties, at least once, and specialize in community grassroots organizing. She loves volunteer work, and has earned awards from the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Decatur, where she has resided for 35 years. Additionally, She has served on numerous community and cultural boards across the state. In 2010, The Georgia Association of Museums and Galleries honored her with their Lifetime Achievement Award, for my many years of service to the cultural community.
