Listen to the Thurs. April 27, 2017 special edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. Our program featues the regular PANW report with dispatches on the destabilization efforts by international finance capital directed to discourgement investment and growth in South Africa; the false narrative of a Detroit renaissance under capitalist ppropriation is being further exposed in a recent article; a Pentagon monitoring agency is investaging the activities of ousted National Security Adviser Michael Flynn; and the West is alarmed by the growing cooperation between the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation. In the second and third hours we continue our tribute to the life, times, ideas and contributions of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah of Africa. Nkrumah was the founder of the Convention People's Party which led the independence movement of the modern-state of Ghana with him as president. We look at his tenure in office from 1951-1966, and the co-presidency of Guinea-Conakry from 1966-72. Finally we review the trip of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to Ghana for independence celebrations in March 1957.
