Listen to the Sat. March 3, 2018 edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the predictions by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that the Southern African state of Mozambique will default on loans until 2023; there are still many unanswered questions about the deaths of AFRICOM troops in Niger over four months ago; Ivory Coast is experiencing difficulties in the cocoa industry after problems with international marketing of its principal export; and the West African state of Ghana is being dictated to by the IMF once again. In the second hour we feature a rebroadcast of the Leid Stories program on Detroit aired inititially over PRN.FM on Feb. 5, 2018 highlighting host Abayomi Azikiwe. In the final hour we will listen to a program originally aired over the Global Reserach News Hour with Abayomi Azikiwe on Feb. 23, 2018 discussing the notion of mass incarceration as an extension of chattel slavery of African people in the United States.
