Listen to the Sat. March 10, 2018 edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the meeting between Kenyan political party leaders President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition figure Raila Odinga; Zimbabwe Herald reporters have commemorated International Women's Day; the DPRK has extended an invitation for talks with the administration of United States President Donald Trump; and the ruling African National Congress (ANC) party in the Republic of South Africa has issued a statement commemorating International Women's Day. During the second and third hours we continue our focus on International Women's Month. We focus on the life, times and contributions of three African American women from the mid-19th century through the early 20th. These women are anti-slavery fighter Harriet Tubman, women's rights advocate Mary Church Terrell and anti-lynching campaigner Ida B. Wells-Barnett.
