Listen to the Sun. Nov. 3, 2019 edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the Southern African Development Community (SADC) campaign seeking the elimination of western imperialist sanctions against the Republic of Zimbabwe; Botswana has sworn in President Masisi for his second term as head-of-state; the war in Yemen is not abating where six Saudi Arabian troops were killed on the border by resistance forces inside the country; and the Syrian state remains steadfast in defending its internal security and border amid violations by foreign elements funded by neo-colonial states. In the second hour we look back on the legacy of African American Freedom Fighter Assata Shakur. Finally, we rebroadcast a speech by James Baldwin from 1963 entitled "The Fire Next Time."
