Listen to the Sat. Nov. 30, 2019 edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the recent peace talks held in the Republic of Sudan for the neighboring Republic of South Sudan attempting to resolve the impasse in Juba; a regional women's conference has been held in Khartoum where the issues of gender and inequality were discussed; the People's Republic of China has summoned the United States chief diplomat in the country to protest the role of Washington in the Hong Kong unrest; and the Republic of Cuba along with the European Union (EU) have held discussions on multi-lateral trade in the current period. In the second hour we look at the geo-political character of destabilization in Asia and Africa. Finally, we rebroadcast the introductory Massey Lectures delivered by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. over the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) during late 1967.
