Listen to the Sun. Dec. 22, 2019 special edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features a rare archival radio panel discussion in New York City featuring three of the leading African American writers of the 20th century: Langston Hughes, Lorraine Hansberry and James Baldwin. The discussion was held in New York City during 1961. In the second and third hours we rebroadcast the historic Massey Lectures of Dec. 1967 where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. lays out his last will and testament to the people of the United States and the world. In parts III and IV MLK discusses the role of youth and social change along with the tactical questions arising from the transformation of western society.
