Listen to the Sun. Dec. 29, 2019 edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the address delivered by Republic of Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa inside the country on the problems and prospects for the upcoming year; Eritrean President Isaisis Afwerki has concluded a state visit to neighboring Ethiopia where pertinent issues involving bi-lateral relations were discussed; the capital of Somalia has been struck once again with a massive truck bomb which killed 80 people; and there is a new African American Historical Museum scheduled to be opened in Charleston, South Carolina. In the second hour we look back on the nearly five-year history of the United States engineered genocidal war against the people of Yemen. Finally, we listen to a rare archival speech delivered by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during early 1967 in California on his rapidly evolving views on the Pentagon war against Vietnam.
