Listen to the Sun. Sept. 13, 2020 special edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the role of the Republic of Zimbabwe First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa in governmental efforts to migtigate the spread of COVID-19; the Southern African state of Botswana has received medical supplies from the People's Republic of China; Ethiopian President Sahle-Work Zewde has surveyed a China-built avenue inside the Horn of Africa state; and African American sports figures are continuing their protests against racism and national oppression in the United States. In the first and second hours we continue our tribute to the life, times and contributions of Toots Hibbert, the legendary artist and performer from the Caribbean island-nation of Jamaica who made his transition recently. Finally, we hear a briefing from the World Health Organization (WHO) Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus in Geneva.
