Listen to the Sun. Feb. 21, 2021 special edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the expected arrival in a few days of another 600,000 COVID-19 vaccines to the Republic of Zimbabwe; the West African state of Niger is undergoing a national elections to determine the political future of the energy-rich country; the Algerian government has announced the release of prisoners while dissolving the existing government in preparation for elections; and a border dispute is continuing between Ethiopia and Sudan. In the second hour we listen to a recent briefing by the World Health Organization (WHO) Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister and Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Chairperson Keith Rowley on the situation involving COVID-19 internationally. Finally, we acknowledge African American History Month with a tribute to Malcolm X (El Hajj Malik Shabazz) on the 56th anniversary of his martyrdom.
