Listen to the Sat. Feb. 27, 2021 edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the administration of COVID-19 vaccines among first responders in Zimbabwe; the South African military is monitoring the security situation in northern Mozambique; Haiti is the scene of a prison break where hundreds of inmates were able to escape from detention; and Nigeria is still being plagued by the proliferation of kidnappings. In the second hour we listen to a briefing from the World Health Organization (WHO) Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on the status of the pandemic internationally. Finally, we continue our commemoration of African American History Month with reflections on the life, times and contributions of Malcolm X (El Hajj Malik Shabazz).
