The Word "Rapture," Is Not Found in the Bible, Both Greek and Latin Refer to the Word, as Being "Caught Up!"
In the Bible, the Greek word for the rapture is "harpazo," and is found in Acts 8:39; 2 Corinthians 12:2,4; and Revelation 12:5.
In Latin, the for the rapture is "rapturo." which again, means to be "Caught Up," in the air. (1 Thessalonians 4:14-18).
The Lord Jesus has given us a glimpse of that in Revelation 4:1 when He gave the Apostle John "letters," to the seven Churches of Asia!
Further, we read that the Apostle John witnesses the 24 elders in heaven during the time of tribulation!
1- They cannot be the tribulation believers, according to Revelation 7:13-14!
2- They cannot be angels, because of Revelation 7:11!
3. And, It cannot be the complete nation of Israel, because of Revelation 7:1-8!
They all sang the Proclamation of a new song, Revelation 5:8-10!
a) The song about His Preeminence. "Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof."
b) The song about the purpose of His death, "For thou was slain"
c) The song about the Purchase of the redeemed, "And, thou hast redeemed us to God ...Revelation 1:6
