The Feast of Tabernacles is the sixth of the seven annual feasts of the Lord. Also known as the Feast of Ingathering, it is a feast much to be celebrated because it represents the Lord's coming to gathering of Israel from among all the nations of the earth. The Lord had Israel dwell in booths for this seven day feast. These booths symbolize the temporary tabernacle man dwells in, which is his flesh or body. The Lord is giving man seven days, or 7,000 years, to get prepared for the Father's kingdom of spirits. The seven days of this feast marks the time God has given man to dwell in this fleshly body. After he has gathered the "harvest", then man will be given a new tabernacle, a spirit body to live in the Father's kingdom.
