With what is going on in our world today many individuals are feeling scared, hopeless, worthless or perhaps at a lost. If someone you loved was suicidal would you know what to do or say? If you yourself was feeling tired, exhausted, wanting to give up, depressed, addicted or had a case of the F.. It's , how would you handle it? With what is going on in our world as it relates to the floods, hurricanes, fires, earthquakes and this heat, such is affecting the moods of many. Not to mention that millions are suffering with depression, other mental illnesses, financial, addictions, health or relational issues.
Suicide does not discrimate it affects children, teens, adults and our seniors. It does not matter if you are rich or poor.
It is said that depression and stress are considered as the major cause of suicide or self harm. Losing a loved one to suicide can leave a person feeling lost and alone. According to WHO 800,000 people across the world die by suicide every year and at least 65,000 people attempt suicide as several others think about it.
September is National Suicide Awareness Month. Many individuals have been affected by the aftermath of suicide or have attempted suicide. If you are someone you know is struggling with life, a relationship, or just want to give up give me a call. The show is designed to provide resources, insight and encouragement despite what you are going through.
Darkness can not exist where there is light. Life is precious and valuable. I saw a post that said, " God always has something for you, a key for every problem, a light for every shadow, a relief for every sorrow and a plan for every tomorrow. Let's talk about it and develop some sunshine. If I don't know how to do anything else, I know how to make you laugh.
