The LizyT Show with international authors Shantial Dean
Shantial Dean, I love to read, write and create very strong details when writing. I am also a speaker for the young youth program. My favorite television channel is the Investigation Discovery channel. I compare this channel because it usually has no limit, everything is reality. This is how I compare my writing-reality! I love to write because it is a great way for me to express how I am feeling at that moment and sometimes to live in the past, which can sometimes be for a good.

Heroism or Cowardice: Have the Police Flipped the Script on the People?
in Radio
The recent tragedy in Texas has shed more light on the darker side of policing in America. Reports state that police waited nearly an hour to engage the Salvador Ramos as he barricaded himself in a classroom executing children and teachers at Robb Elementary School. It is also being reported that officers formed a barricade outside, preventing hysterical parents from entering the building and getting their children. While I understand the need to keep the area of engagement clear of civilians while the police conduct their duties, I also understand the immediate need for action in dire circumstances in which multiple lives are in danger. We’ve witnessed acts of bravery displayed on the world stage when it comes to U.S. military operations against insurgency and international terrorism, but for some reason we can’t seem to replicate that bravery domestically with our police forces. Instead we hear about unarmed people being ambushed and murdered on traffic stops because they attempt to resist arrest or flee, or we hear about the infiltration of police organizations by gangs. Has this situation in Uvalde Texas exposed the ineffectiveness of police in the midst of real crisis? I definitely see the skirts being lifted. #Uvalde #NRA #Trump #TedCruz #PoliceState #ThinBlueLine #JoeBiden #GunControl #racism #secondamendment
