One common emotion experienced by people thinking about divorce is fear.  It’s so prevalent that it stalls people from making good decisions, paralyzing them from going forward, staying in abusive marriages, losing assets, and confusing their children. Having someone guide you through the process of feeling scared to get divorced and answer all of the questions that come up is invaluable. Not only will your stress level be reduced, but you will save yourself a huge amount of time and wasted expense in the process.

Today's special guest Susan Shofer is a dear friend of mine, a colleague, and an outstanding divorce coach. She is renowned world-wide for the powerful Ted Talk she gave on Parental Alienation. Susan will share the details so you can watch it if you'd like to. I highly recommend that you do.

As a divorce and custody ally, she helps women and men navigate the troubled waters of a family breakup by sharing her own organized and pragmatic approach to the divorce process. Susan successfully crossed her own highly contentious divorce and post-divorce battle and was triumphant in her fight against Parental Alienation.

Susan is the author of The Divorce Recovery Ladder and a forthcoming book about parental alienation. She is a former private investigator, and has an MBA from Johns Hopkins University and BA from the University of Maryland in Ancient Studies, Archaeology and Classics.
