Tonight on the Coaches Corner Show we will aire a pre-recorded episode title Building A Successful Game Plan For The Student/Athletes. We will turn our attention on the upcoming school semester and the thousands of student athletes that will be participating on their high school teams. Our focus this week will be on the importance of creating a Game Plan on points of interest that should be identified and enclosed in this plan.

Just as coaches spend time planning, compililing plays or composing a Play Book, we think our student athletes should be more determined to have a guide or plan to address their academic expectations, athletic goals and overall character. So let's start this three part series off by identifying and addressing our tactics and plan for playing a good solid defensive game.Next week we tackle or discuss te offensive plan and on week three we talk about player character. Some defensive concepts to discuss:

1. Academics - GPA, Homework, Quiz, Tests, Special Projects & Class Participation

2. ACT/SAT Preparation, College Research, College Majors

3. Atletics - Practice Sessions, Game Preparation, Leadership Skills
