This show will talk about the hatred that was around the years 1909 to 1910 as the fight drew near in Reno, Nevada between Jack Johnson vs.James J. Jefferies for the Heavyweight Championship of the World. I will be discussing historical data and research that occured during this time across the USA from San Francisco to New York City. Jack Johnson was the first Black Heavyweight Champion. He was hated simply because he was Black. We will discuss the aftermath of the "Fight of the Century" as well as the racial hatred that ensued afterward.
