Update on Reparations for Foundational Black Americans and DOAS

On tonight's episode of Shabaka's Black Experience Enhanced , we wil be discussing what's happening with Reparations in the state of California! This past weekend their were several hearings about Reparations and about the Reparations Task Force that was passed under AB 3121. A a few months ago our co-producer Che Nkrumah aka Jesse Parris for Denver Mayor called into the hearing about Lineage Based Reparations, meaning you have to be a Foundational Black American, Descendant of American Chattel Slavery, American Freedman in order to be eligible for Reparations in California! The taskforce voted in favor of lineage-based reparations! So recently many non-FBA's and foreign tethers called into the Reparations Task Force hearing in Los Angeles trying to convince the task force to rescend the eligiblity cause in AB 3121 and it didn't work!
