Hello everyone, I am Leonna Abraham Brandao, Host for Blog Talk Radio/ Shedding Light, here with Guests Advocate Gloria Woods, Author of "Broken Shackles, A Mother's Journey". Rev. Madeline Coburn, of Coburn Interprise, a Longtime Advocate for Prisoners, who is very familiar with the injustices in this Country and Sandy Freese, Behavioral Cognitive Therapist, a writer of Victory From Chaos.

We are living at a time when Justice has not prevailed. There is no man or woman, who has not made a mistake in thier lives. Yet, Offenders have been given very harsh and unrealistic sentences for crimes they did not commit, and many have been victimized before becoming offenders and then being victimized all over again, while incarcerated.

We are here to speak out against the hatred, racism, abuses, suicides, deprivations and much, much more which is going on within the penal system in America. No other Country in the World, has mass incarceration. Nor does any other Country in the World practice LWOP as done in this Country known to also be one of few with the highest rates of Human Rights Violations. Our Guests will be discussing their own experiences as well.
