Hello everyone, I am Leonna Abraham Brandao, Host for Blog Talk Radio/ Shedding Light.

We see all too often in prisons throughout the Country, the injustices that go on in the penal system. The abuses, deprivations, medical neglect, and even incarcerated individuals who are targeted and deprived the opportunities to better themselves. Prisoners denied educational programs, work programs and appropriate medical treatment. But, we also see Godly Individuals in the communities, who are aware of this and who have taken it upon themselves to ensure that these individuals obtain the education and oversight, that our taxpayer dollars are being wasted upon behind the walls of the penal system. 

Today, our Special Guests includes, Reverend Emanuel L. Hutcherson, Founder of Future Hope Apprenticeship & Recovery Program / GLT Prison Prevention Ministry, Inc. in Dorchester, MA and he will be joining us, with a former students, who is now Founder of his own Organization, Charles Skinner, formerly incarcerated individual who earned degrees while incarcerated and  furthered his education beyond the prison walls,earning his certificate, and now through the Mentorship of the Reverend Hutcherson, is Founder of his own organization,  Families4ever.
