Hello everyone, I am Leonna Abraham Brandao, Host for Blog Talk Radio/ Shedding Light. As we all know, the United States is the only Country in the entire world, that has mass incarcerations and also among Countries with a high rate of  Human/Civil Rights' Violations.  I always reiterate the fact that prisoners should not be stereotyped, as all cases vary in circumstances and all situations have more than one side to a story. In this case we will hear of one injustice done to an innocent person.

I want to welcome our Special Guests today, Judy Pickens, a wrongfully convicted woman from Missouri, and with her, let's welcome a longtime prisoner advocate for the wrongfully convicted, Madeline Michelle Carthen, Prison Chaplain.

Criminal Justice Reform in the United States is Long Overdue and Our Guests will discuss why and where it needs to start.

Blogtalk Radio Shedding Light Is Committed To Bringing Awareness.
