When you translate the most high God in the Strong's you get H5927 an elevation, that is, (adjectively) lofty (comparatively); as title, the Supreme: - (Most, on) high (-er, -est), upper (-most) and it is pronounced Elyon. The word God H410 Shortened from H352; strength; as adjective mighty; especially the Almighty (but used also of any deity): - God (god), X goodly, X great, idol, might (-y one), power, strong. Compare names in “-el.” is El. There for “the most high God” is translated to Elyon El, which means Melchizedek was a priest of Elyon El, so the question is who is Elyon El? According to the Dead Sea Scrolls Elyon El is the Prince of Light, whom is the archangel Michael whom is also called Melchizedek. This is the Commander and Chief of War. Which is why the tribe of Levi thru the Seed of Aaron became the Priest of The Most High.
Which is why Abram gave 1/10 of the spoils to Melchizedek. And then we read Abram saying to the King of Sodom keep your blessing, I will not take “from a thread even to a shoelatchet” because I have lift up mine hand unto YAHUWAH, Elyon El, the possessor of heaven and earth. Now because we are getting translated material passed down and filtered by the Usurpers, Blue Bloods and deceivers it's difficult to distinguish between Elyon El of Baal or Elyon El of archangel Michael. Keep in mind this has been a debate in the Biblical intellectual circles for a long time.
