Corie Skolnick is the author of Orfan, the story of Jimmy Deane a resilient adoptee, and America’s Most Eligible, the story of an ambitious young writer trying to uncover what’s true in pretentious Southern California. She is also a licensed marriage and family therapist and, forty years ago, she was going through a divorce and was not a believer in the things we discuss on this podcast. But then something changed that. Listen to hear Corie’s amazing story.
Corie also talks about a feeling she remembers to this day that compelled her to do something that would seem ordinary, but turned out to be how she met her husband. Also hear how Corie compares the climate of today to the 1960s and a very special project she is working on with a former student.
