THE ANCIENT PATHS

Co-hosts Beth Harris and Dr. Larry Hinkle speak with pastors and their wives from Living Grace Christian Fellowship in Arvada, Colorado on the topic of how knowing God as Trinity has made a difference in their life and ministry.

The doctrine of the Trinity is a distinguishing characteristic of the Christian faith, and is so important that without it, according to author Bruce Ware, "The whole Christian faith disintegrates." Trinitarian theologian Karl Rahner, on the other hand, has written that "We must be willing to admit that, should the doctrine of the Trinity have to be dropped as false, the major part of religious literature could well remain virtually unchanged."

In contrast, today we are seeing a revival of interest in the understanding of the nature of God as Trinity. Author and theologian Richard Rohr says that, "Trinitarian theology offers us perhaps the best foundation for true interfaith dialogue and friendship we’ve ever had."
