Spartan Nation lost a legend last week when Jud Heathcote passed away. Heathcote coached Michigan State basketball from 1976-1995 and was 90 years old when he passed the away. A loveable curmudgeon, Heathcote won one national championship with Michigan State and reached the NCAA tournament nine times.
