STRONGEST NATION ON EARTH SAYS WHO?

Please refrain from making arrogant statements such as We are the strongest nation on the face of the earth. We just may end up under the face of the earth. I notice that all the politicians who never served their country always bandy this phrase about. As soon as I hear it I cringe and a voice in my head says don't push your luck. Or to quote a communist bag man. Don't go there buddy. I am sure the builders of the tower of Babel were as confident as the captain of the Titanic . The ship that even God could not sink.I will keep that  sin of pride saying to myself. We are less prepared today than school kids in the 50's. We had fall out shelters and duck and cover drills. Today kindergarten kids are only practicing lockdowns in gun free zones. How about a nuke free zone?
