EP #37 STEP INTO THE LIGHT with PATTI SHENE

Through its distribution of gift-filled shoeboxes to over 150 countries and territories throughout the globe, Operation Christmas Child brings God’s love to needy children in a tangible manner. Since 1993, this Samaritan’s Purse project has mobilized 500,000 volunteers worldwide to distribution of 135 million shoeboxes collected from Australia,  Austria Canada, Finland, Germany, Japan New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland,  the U.K, and the United States..

This week’s guest, Richard Estep, has served as network coordinator for Operation Christmas Child since 2012 here in Southeastern Colorado. He has witnessed the impact of this monumental project from the starting point of packing a box and working a collection site to the final destination of distribution of the gift-filled boxes in foreign countries. Richard will share his testimony of how these simple boxes hold the promise of hope in Jesus Christ and forever change the lives of countless children in a dark and hurting world.
