Kim Garee has enjoyed a career as a newspaper reporter and  a high school English teacher. She currently serves as a school librarian, and, with her debut novel recently released, is an author of inspirational fiction. Pressed Together, released in May of 2024, offers romance and a twist of suspense.

Join us as Kim talks about the setting for her novel, the Buck Eye Lake Amusement Park, a thriving center of activity and entertainment located in Ohio in the post WWII era.

Kim discusses the trust issues her characters had to work through, her own personal challenge she drew from to create their journey, and how her main character's struggle with his experiences as a WWII veteran shaped him.
