High tech entrepreneur, independent film-maker, angel investor and spiritual seeker Rizwan Virk explores insights on integrating spirituality into the workplace, based on the newly expanded second edition of his popular book Zen Entrepreneurship: Walking the Path of the Career Warrior.
The producer of multiple films, Riz is executive producer of the immensely popular breakthrough documentary Thrive: What on Earth Will It Take?, seen by over 10 million people. He also co-executive produced Sirius, an eye-opening documentary about UFOs.
Riz's entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 23, when he started his first high tech company and rapidly grew it into a multi-million dollar venture. A series of events led to his re-evaluation of what was happening "behind the scenes" in his entrepreneurial career, significantly altering his views on business and career success and how they relate to each of our spiritual journeys.
Riz studied Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Management Science at Stanford's Graduate School of Business. He has started and invested in several high tech companies, and is the creator of Tap Fish, a mobile game that was downloaded more than 30 million times.
Riz has appeared on multiple high profile media venues, including The Daily Show and Coast to Coast AM.
