Retired Fortune 500 executive Kurt Koontz returns to the show to reflect more deeply on lessons and experiences emerging from his transformative journey of nearly 500 miles on the historic Camino de Santiago in Spain. Kurt is the author of A Million Steps, in which he chronicles his inspirational, life-changing journey on the trail and into the heart, following the steps of a 1300-year-old pilgrimage bridging inner and outer worlds.
Kurt has been on tour sharing his experiences with audiences. We will talk about the lasting lessons emerging and how others are responding to his profoundly powerful stories of navigating through his personal history of addiction, recovery and love, all the while embracing the beauty of the countryside and joyful connections to other pilgrims from around the world.
Kurt retired at the age of 36. For the past decade, his travels have taken him to all corners of the world, requiring both physical and mental endurance. We will also discuss Kurt's plans for upcoming journeys.
