UFO Disclosure and Spirituality

This Tuesday, there will be an open congressional hearing in the U.S. on the UFO phenomenon, and this has not happened in over 50 years.  How can we reflect on this topic in a spiritual context, beyond a strictly "nuts and bolts" perspective?  It's important to note that science and spirituality, when they honestly and non-dogmatically explore genuine pathways to truth, are not at odds with one another.  Even so, we can expect significant discussions from multiple perspectives as this new chapter unfolds.
