The Equinox and Decision Points

The Equinox can be viewed symbolically as a point of decision. Afterwards, in some regions, Nature will progress towards Winter.  In other regions, Nature will progress towards Spring.  It is already decided for Nature.  How do we deal with our decision points in the way that's best for us?  How do we lovingly view our decision points in the past?
