When God's mantle of justice is harsh: Isaiah 13 plus commentary

Tonight we play special music you may or may not have heard.  Jane reads Isaiah 13 and Bible commentary.

Isaiah was in a position in which he needed to explain to Israel and the Kingdom of Judah the pending conquer of Babylon over themselves.  God established punishment for the Nation of Israel due to disobedience and it was not light.  Facing retribution by God can be devastating.  Subsequently, the most recent Babylonian empire, Saddam Hussein's Iraq, has fallen and been dashed to pieces twice in the last 25 years.
