Is Kevin McCarthy a casualty for a bigger agenda?

Kevin McCarthy was ousted out of Speaker of the House position by 6 bi partisan votes at a critical time when even a budget cannot be decided.  He was voted in office in January after an agreement was made on who can propose a resolution to remove the speaker, allowing only one member to do so.  Rep Matt Gaetz was upset with McCarthy for creating a short term spending bill with Democrats so decided to lead a fight against him.  His vacated seat will ultimately cause  more chaos than calm and the Republicans will expose their fragmented majority once again.
