Jayne Sallerson is the Executive Vice President, overseeing all sales and marketing for Emeritus Corp.’s independent, assisted living Alzheimer’s and skilled nursing communities throughout the United States. A skilled mentor and coach, she is particularly adept at improving team performance, resulting in increased resident satisfaction and sustained facility growth. A native New Yorker, Sallerson earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing at Clark University, Worcester, Mass. She is very active in the Assisted Living Federation of America, and speaks frequently at regional and national industry conferences and at colleges and universities. Christopher J. DesBarres and his wife Amanda are owners of Help Unlimited, Inc, a daily money management firm serving senior citizens and the disabled in the mid-Atlantic. Chris served for six years as a counterintelligence officer with the Department of Defense, where he directed an inter-agency program combating terrorism. He deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, and from 2007-2009 served on the staff of the National Security Council for Presidents Bush and Obama. Chris obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA at Wake Forest University. He is the chairman of the Southeast Chapter of the AADMM and he is an American Red Cross volunteer.
