TONIGHT'S TOP HEADLINES

• NFL – Pre-season is in full swing. Antonio Brown wants to wear his 10 YO helmet and had a 2 hour conference call with league officials on why he should be allowed to wear his unapproved helmet. He claims he cant see.

• Shortening the pre-season games is back on the chopping block. Its getting serious now. In 2021 the collective bargaining agreement ends, but we could see changes before then.

• MLB - Yanks now hold a decisive lead of 10.5 games over Tampa

• Twinkies and Indians neck and neck – HOU is quite comfortable in the west. Baves seem OK with 5.5 over WAS. Cubbies now on top by 3.5. Last week STL was on top, now they are down by 4. And Dodgers are just insane right now with 18 games ahead.

• NASCAR is in Doc's home turf of Michigan
