Good evening, tomorrow morning on The Meter, we will cover the Democratic National Convention where Hillary Clinton made history becoming the country's first ever female major party presidential nominee. Clinton pledges she will the president of all the people, attempting to reach out to independents and never Trump republicans. DNC speakers included Bernie Sanders, former President Bill Clinton, President Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and the father of a fallen Muslim solider in Iraq. Many protesters that supported Sanders made their voices heard outside of the convention hall but they received little attention from the press. Yet another email scandal plagued the Democrats revealing a plan that favored Clinton over Sanders that resulted in the dismissal of Debbie Wassermann Shultz, the DNC Chairperson.
