Supreme Court and Mid-Term Update

Good morning, today on The Meter, we will discuss the retirement of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy and President Trump's shortlist. After 30 years on the high court, Kennedy known as the swing vote has sent panic in the halls of the left fearing that Roe vs, Wade may be overturned with another appointment by President Trump. In election news 10 term incumbent Joe Crowley lost in the biggest upset in 2018 to socilaist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Cortez wants Medicare for all, a guaranteed job, and the abolishment of ICE, a sediment that is being shared by other democrats such as Elizabeth Warren and Kristen Gillibrand. Republicans have creeped ahead in the 2018 midterm for control of the upper legislative chamber. We will update the Senate races and focus on the key toss ups. Maxine Waters is at it again, this time telling people to harass members of President Trump's cabinet when seen in public.
