Good morning, today on The Meter, we will discuss the aftermath of the 2 mass shootings last weekend as Gun Control has once again made it's way into Presidential politics. Congress is considering new regulations that may include instant background checks, additional waiting periods, and circumstances on removing guns from potential threats. Responsible legislation or will no good? Jeffrey Epstein was found dead of an apparent suicide in his jail cell yesterday. Epstein was charged with sex crimes with underage girls and was facing life behind bars as well as an endless number of civil lawsuits. Attorney General Bill Barr is launching an investigation into the conduct of the prison and it's procedures. The Hunt, a so called "satire" film from Universal Studios about elite liberals hunting down and killing rural Deplorables for sport, set for release next month, has been pulled from theaters after backlash. Would this type of movie potentially incite violence as the Democrat Presidential candidates said President Trump did at El Paso or is it just a movie? Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell had protesters outside of his Kentucky home screaming insults and making threats such as sticking a knife in the motherfuc-ers heart. No commendation from Democrats. Hypocritical?? Please join the discussion at 10AM. The call in number is 347-308-8933. Your input is essential.
