Good morning, today on The Meter, we will discuss the Democrat Party's latest push for impeachment. In July, President Trump had a phone call with Ukrainian President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky where he mentioned former Vice-President Joe Biden's stopping an investigation into a company in Ukraine that involved his son Hunter Biden. Joe Biden bragged how he threatened to withhold a billion dollar aid package unless the investigator was fired and the investigation stopped. President Trump asked for a probe into the situation. Democrats are claiming this is an impeachable offense because President Trump temporarily withheld Congressional appropriated fund for that country. Trump claims he wanted a committment from Ukraine that they would fund more of their own military. A whistleblower, a CIA agent made the complaint with no first hand knowledge of the call. The Democrats recently changed this requirement after they won the House. Republicans are accusing the Democrats of abuse of power. Witch hunt or Constitutional duty? Also, as Democrats prepare for the next debate on October 15, frontrunner Joe Biden is slipping in the polls. Elizabeth Warren is now closing in on Biden as the controversy over Ukraine seems to be taking it's toll on the former Vice-President. Will Biden's candidacy survive the scandal? President Trump spoke at the United Nations where he pushed an America First agenda. The President referenced the now growing American manufacturing sectors where prior to his Administration 4.2 million jobs were lost and $15 trillion in deficits accumulated. The US President also said that the United States will demand fair and reciprocal trade with China. Trump called out human rights abuses in Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela and that the United States would never waiver in it's opposition to Socialism and Communism. Was the President too Pro-American in his remarks? Please join the discussion at 10AM. The call in number is 347-308-8933. Your input is essential!
