Good morning, today on The Meter, we will discuss the pending peace agreement between The United States and The Taliban. The deal would require The Taliban to combat terrorism and take control of security in Afghanistan. The longest war in US history may be ending. Is the deal a good one for America? Also, the Coronavirus has claimed it's first American life. Beginning in China, it has now spread to 54 counties and infected more than 87,000 people around the globe including 71 Americans. Nearly 3,000 have died. President Trump ordered flight restrictions that was welcomed with accusations of racism from the President's critics. The President called out key Democrats for attempting to cause a panic over the virus' threat and called for unity. Trump has held 2 national press conferences with Dr. Robert R. Redfield, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention saying the administration is prepared to deal with the spread of coronavirus. US markets are down more than 12% since it's high last month. Who is responsible for the politicization of Coronavirus? CPAC held it's annual meeting this week featuring the successes the conservative polices of the Trump administration has had on America. President Trump spoke yesterday commenting on his accomplishments, praising Republicans, with the exception of Mitt Romney calling the Utah Senator a low life, and pointing out the differences between him and the Democrat candidates. President Trump also hugged and kissed the flag. How much of a comeback has conservativism made? Finally, Joe Biden scored a huge victory in the South Carolina primary. Biden cruised to victory with overwhelming support from Black voters. Biden won the primary by nearly 30% and picked by 39 Delegates. Bernie Sanders came in a distant second with 15 Delegates. It now appears the nomination will be a battle between Biden and Sanders. Please join the discussion at 10AM. The call in number is 347-308-8933. Your input is essential.
